Kansas City, Mo. (Oct. 14, 2009) — The Kansas City chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA) recently awarded 12 first place honors to McCormick Company, Kansas City, for exemplary business-to-business marketing communications in its 2009 Fountain Awards competition.
The Fountain Award is the only Kansas City-area award that is strictly for business-to-business marketing. The four categories for entry were creativity, production, selling proposition and results. Criteria for determining award winners were excellence in planning, creativity and execution.
"We are delighted that our 12 awards place us among the top agencies," said Mark Perrin, president of JLM 1926 Holdings and McCormick Company. "McCormick Company aims to produce award-winning, results-driven work for each client. We feel honored to be the recipient of these B-to-B awards from the Kansas City BMA chapter."
McCormick Company took home the greatest total number of first-place Fountain Award honors for work completed on behalf of clients Pioneer Hi-Bred, DuPont Crop Protection and Elanco Companion Animal Health, a division of Eli Lilly and Company. Winners were announced at the 10th annual Kansas City BMA awards banquet on Sept. 24, 2009 at Boulevard Brewing in Kansas City, Mo. The judging panel consisted of three business-marketing experts who scored all entries Sept. 1.
"I'm so proud of all of our team," Perrin said. "The 12 awards are a culmination of excellent work that's produced on a daily basis by the talented and dedicated people at McCormick Company."
"We truly appreciate everyone's involvement and contributions for this event," Perrin said.
