McCormick Company Announces Promotions
Ploeger, Oberly named vice presidents; Bronson, Holdren account executives

Kansas City, Mo. (June 9, 2009) — McCormick Company announces the recent promotions of Karl Ploeger and Melinda Oberly, each to the role of vice president. Ploeger and Oberly are located in the company’s Kansas City office.

"Both Karl and Mindy have demonstrated the high-level of account service and strong commitment we provide our clients," says Mark Perrin, president of JLM 1926 Holdings and McCormick Company. "Their leadership has been instrumental in developing and implementing activities for our clients in reaching their business goals."

Ploeger joined McCormick in 2006 and has been responsible for providing account service for the corn business of the Pioneer Hi-Bred account. In his new role as vice president, Ploeger will lead the account service group for the Pioneer-U.S. business.

Oberly joined McCormick in 2001 and has 11 years of agency experience. As part of the DuPont Crop Protection account services team she has managed client service and strategic development. In her new role, she will lead the DuPont Crop Protection-U.S. advertising services team.

Tiffany Bronson and Nina Holdren, also based in the McCormick® Kansas City office, have been promoted to account executives. Bronson joined McCormick in 2007 and will be responsible for forages, MarketPoint® resource and IndustrySelect® biofuels for Pioneer Hi-Bred. Holdren also joined the company in 2007 and will be providing account services for corn and Optimum® Brand Innovations products on behalf of Pioneer.
