McCormick Company Corporate Headquarters Moves After 52 Years
AMARILLO, Tx. Feb. 6, 2009 — After 52 years in the same location, McCormick Company's corporate headquarters office in Amarillo, Texas, has relocated to 701 S. Taylor, Suite 400.
The new office is in the current Bank of America building which was recently purchased by Happy State Bank, a McCormick client. Ironically, McCormick was the agency of record for the bank that built the building, The First National Bank of Amarillo, in 1976.
"Preparing to move has been like an Easter egg hunt," says Cathy Pruiett, Amarillo production manager. "During the move we discovered items of historical interest such as vinyl soundtracks used for live television commercials in the 1950s. It has been challenging to know what is trash and what is treasure," she adds.
